Ray Liotta

Ray Liotta has joined the cast of the upcoming crime thriller COGAN'S TRADE from director Andrew Dominik.

THR reports today that Liotta has joined the cast. Yesterday we told you that Vincent Curatola joined the awesome cast which includes, Brad Pitt, James Gandolfini, Javier Bardem, Sam Rockwell, Casey Affleck, Mark Ruffalo and Richard Jenkins in the adaptation of the 1974 George V. Higgins novel.

Pitt will play Jackie Cogan, "a professional enforcer who must investigate a heist that took place during a high-stakes poker game under protection of the mob." Liotta has signed on to play Mark "Markie" Trattman, the "unfortunate hustler who runs the game in a motel room and finds things only going downhill from there."

COGAN'S TRADE is being produced by The Weinstein Co. and Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment. The film is scheduled to begin shooting in New Orleans later this month for an early 2012 release.

This story sounds super cool and the cast is just amazing for this feature adaptation. I am looking forward to seeing this film when it's released. What are your thoughts?
