Red band trailer for 30 MINUTES OR LESS hits
With a collection of photos hitting earlier this week, Sony has finally given us our first look at footage from their upcoming comedy, 30 MINUTES OR LESS, and while it’s not much, it is pretty damn good.
The film stars a great cast, including Jesse Eisenberg, Aziz Ansari, Danny McBride, Nick Swardson, and Michael Pena, and follows the story of two friends who, after having a falling out of sorts, must team back up after a duo of criminals straps a bomb to one of them, forcing them to rob a bank. Eisenberg plays the bomb-wearing pizza delivery man, along with Aziz Ansari’s history teacher best buddy and, from that set up, hilarity seems to ensue.
While the cast itself is enough to get excited, the film is helmed by ZOMBIELAND director Ruben Fleischer, which should give a good insight into what type of film one should expect. This trailer has a few really great gags, making this easily the first comedy of 2011 to really get excited for. Toss in a rumored 80-minute runtime, and this is looking like it may be a real winner come its August 12 release date.
