Red band trailer for BAD TEACHER hits
While Hollywood seems hellbent on shoving various superhero films and remakes down our collective throats, 2011 is going to be a relatively interesting year within the world of comedies.
Along with the likes of THE HANGOVER 2, THE SITTER, FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS, and HORRIBLE BOSSES (just to name a few), one film that’s caught the attention of many is the Cameron Diaz-starrer BAD TEACHER. And now, based on this red band trailer, this looks to be one of the year’s most interesting foul mouthed comedies.
Co-starring Justin Timberlake and Jason Segal, the film is based on a script from Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg, and follows a teacher looking to get a new pair of boobs to land a wealthy substitute teacher, who happens to be an heir to quite a fortune. Check it out after the break.
Thanks to MySpace, a new red band trailer has hit, and it’s absolutely fantastic. Diaz is really great here and, based on this trailer, I expect quite a hard R comedy. Directed by Jake Kasdan, the film seems to have a really strong supporting cast, rounded out by Lucy Punch, John Michael Higgins, and Phyllis Smith, so this is definitely one comedy I can’t wait to check out.
The movie opens on June 17.
