Red band trailer for FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHT REVISITED is the best thing you’ll see all day
After premiering at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, the upcoming short film, FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHT REVISITED has finally gotten a trailer (via Pitchfork), and what a trailer to start off with.
Coming in unison with the new album from the iconic rap trio the Beastie Boys, Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 2, the short features a dream cast, including Elijah Wood, Danny McBride, Seth Rogen, Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Jack Black, Susan Sarandon, Jason Schwartzman, Will Arnett, Danny McBride, Stanley Tucci, and Chloe Sevigny, and looks to follow some weird battle between two different versions of the group.
Now, while this is a relatively funny trailer, the cast of this thing is the real reason to get excited here. There are a few lame gags here (Ferrell getting a cowbell is not funny), so this trailer isn't perfect. That all said, buzz out of its Sundance screening was good, so hopes are still quite high for this little 22 minute short.
The short hits on May 3 along with the Beastie’s new album.
