Lots of RED STATE news today! We posted some of the newly released images earlier, and now Kevin Smith has unleashed a new poster thanks to the fans' dedication. He stated earlier on Twitter that if he could raise $1000 for the Wayne Foundation within an hour, he'd unveil a new poster today.

Keep reading for more on the fundraiser and to see the poster.

Kevin Smith gave a deadline of one hour to his Twitter followers to raise $1000 for The Wayne Foundation. With 1.7 million followers, it only took half an hour to reach that goal. The reward for his fans' charitable contributions is a newly released poster for RED STATE of "The Virgin" which you can see above.

The Wayne Foundation's mission is to  "provide financial support to charitable organizations with missions dedicated to the future of our youth, their education, our health, and the environment." The foundation’s goal is to stop child rape and it’s led by former victim turned activist Jamie Walton.

Kevin Smith continues to redefine how to promote and fund film with his work on this project. RED STATE will be screened out of competition at Sundance in 2011, where it will seek a distributor.
