Sandra Bullock looks to NEVER FORGET
After picking up last year’s Oscar for Best Actress for her turn in THE BLIND SIDE, Sandra Bullock has been talked about for a myriad of projects, ranging from Steven Daldry’s EXTREMELY LOUD AND INCREDIBLY CLOSE to Alfonso Cuaron’s GRAVITY, it looks like you can toss another project on that slate.
According to EW, the actress is set to join the film NEVER FORGET, which is a film loosely based on the Robby Kushner documentary, ON MORAL GROUNDS, and will tell the story of “one woman’s quest to reimburse Holocaust survivors who were swindled out of their heir’s insurance policies by a European insurance company.” Talk about another Oscar nomination, just waiting to be seen.
The film will, without a doubt, be a huge contender come the Oscars of the year we actually get to see it, and while I’m not a huge fan of Bullock, this does sound like a perfect role for her. And, if this means we’ll get someone else in a film like GRAVITY, a project I actually care about, then this is music to my ears. Overall, I don’t quite know what to think about this film yet. This is definitely a wait-and-see.
