Sandra Bullock reteaming with PROPOSAL director Anne Fletcher
Just when you thought Sandra Bullock would use her recent Oscar win to boost her career out of the rut.
After getting linked to films like the upcoming Alfonso Cuaron film, GRAVITY, THR is reporting that Bullock is set to reteam with a recent partner.
The outlet is reporting that the actress will star in a new, yet-to-be-titled film which will be helmed by Anne Fletcher, director of THE PROPOSAL. The film is apparently in the “vein of 1978 Paul Mazursky film AN UNMARRIED WOMAN and SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER,” and while that may sound fine, it plays stark comparison to other films on her slate like the aforementioned GRAVITY and EXTREMELY LOUD AND INCREDIBLY CLOSE, both of which are looking to be her next film.
Personally, while I’m not a fan of the actress, I do think that both GRAVITY and EXTREMELY LOUD could be a massive step forward for the thespian, who is far more talented than her previous films may in fact show. I guess the bills need to be paid, right?
