SCREAM 4 may have lined up a new cast of vivacious victims
A few voluptuous vixens are in talks to be Ghostface's next potential victims in the upcoming fourth installment of the SCREAM series, also cleverly titled SCRE4M.
Heat Vision is reporting that Lake Bell (IT'S COMPLICATED) is in talks to join the film, along with offers on the table for Ashley Greene (TWILIGHT) and Hayden Panettiere (Heroes) to also star. And, while he may not be vivacious or voluptuous, Rory Culkin (SIGNS) is also one of the names mentioned as a potential new cast member. Should they in fact sign on, the youngins would be joining SCREAM alumni Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox who have already committed to return to the roles that made them famous.
Bell is in talks to star as a police officer who knows Sidney Prescott (Campbell) from high school, and thus knows of her bloody past. Greene would star as Sidney's younger cousin, Jill, with Culkin playing her love interest and Panettiere playing her best friend...a nerdy film geek? That's right, you read that correctly. Panettiere, not Culkin, as a nerdy film geek to carry on the baton for Jamie Kennedy's Randy. My spidey sense tingles with a ploy to lure nerds across the world into furthering Panettiere's status as a geek goddess.
According to the report, actors are finding it difficult to sign onto the film with only character descriptions to go off of, as Dimension Films screenwriter Kevin Williamson, and director Wes Craven are attempting to keep the script cloaked in mystery despite its targeted production start date of July rapidly approaching. Spoiler alert: People are most likely going to die.
