Sean Hayes is Larry for THE THREE STOOGES
And this damn thing keeps getting more and more weird.
Joining Will Sasso, Variety is reporting that Will And Grace and Broadway star Sean Haynes has joined the cast of the upcoming Farrelly Brother directed film adaptation THE THREE STOOGES, and will play the role of Larry. Sasso will be playing the role of Curly so at this point, Moe is the only lead that still needs to be cast.
The film, written by the Farrelly Brothers and Mike Cerrone, appears to be heading quickly into production, especially following a period of gestation seeing names come and go relatively frequently. Personally, the addition of Hayes is definitely an interesting one. I’m a huge Will And Grace fan, and his performance as Jack is part of the reason. He is a beloved stage actor, so this is definitely an intriguing addition. Toss in the interesting comedic chops of former MadTV star Will Sasso, and you have a film that while appearing to be insanely bizarre, may just in fact work.
