The first trailer for the mysterious APOLLO 18 intrigued me, but as the film has been continually pushed back, and as the film's marketing has failed to fully capitalize on its secretive nature and found-footage style, that intrigue has waned. While it first looked like CLOVERFIELD on the Moon, now it just seems a little tired. But will a new trailer change that? Maybe.

This new trailer for APOLLO 18 certainly adds more mystery to the film, about a secret eighteenth mission to the Moon that went horribly awry, while also ratcheting up the tension and giving some hints that audiences are going to be seeing significantly more blood and guts than in typical space fare. It still doesn't look like a must-see just yet, but I won't write it off just yet. Check out the second trailer for APOLLO 18 after the break.

APOLLO 18 will finally open on September 2. Are you still interested in seeing the film?
