Set footage from THOR gives us a behind-the-scenes look at the film

By the beard of Zeus! Entertainment Tonight, by way of /Film, aired a featurette on Kenneth Branagh's big screen adaptation of Marvel's Thor which we have for you right here!

The 4-minute set visit shows an explosion, some running, some punching, Anthony Hopkins sporting an eye patch, and one brief shot of star Chris Hemsworth in the Norse God getup. Not to mention a lot of meaningless banter between Natalie Portman, Hemsworth, and the ET reporter who seems more preoccupied with the actor's stint on the Australian Dancing With The Stars and how swoll he is. Oh, and a lot of awkward pauses! But you could have probably guessed that from the previous sentence.

I would love to have watched this "interview" and walked away feeling like I was privy to some revealing information about the film, its characters, and the actors that play them. Instead, I walked away reminded of being a young film fanatic, glued to the TV anticipating the first look at (fill in summer blockbuster here) Entertainment Tonight was about to rock my adolescent movie-loving brain with. Sadly, it seems that the rocking has stopped for what is now a glorified televised tabloid. Rest in peace Entertainment Tonight of yesteryear.

Enough of my negativity. You can check out the video below, which I suggest you should. After all, it is more of a first look than we've gotten prior to now with the close-up of Hemsworth in the suit and those recent concept designs.
