Suit up and join the fight with the new AVENGERS trailer!
How many ways does Iron Man actually have to get out of that suit?
Given the new footage we're seeing with this new trailer debuting today over at Apple, all of us can find out a little bit more about the team dynamic while also seeing a few more action beats from what's sure to be one of the biggest hits of the summer. A much more dramatic trailer than what we've seen before, there are fewer quips from Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.) and greater emphasis on the enemy threat.
There's also a fantastic moment involving The Hulk a.k.a. CG Mark Ruffalo and Iron Man showing the camaraderie between the two in the midst of battle. There does seem to be a lot of infighting, however, and we see a bit more of the fight between Captain America (Chris Evans) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) revealing that each member didn't exactly sign right up to be a part of Nick Fury's (Samuel L. Jackson) team. My only fear is that these in-house battles won't be significant to the plot and might fall flat dramatically.
We're still only seeing one major action set piece from AVENGERS (as far as I can tell) which hopefully means we'll have a lot more moments on par with the sequences in this trailer.
