Sundance 2010: Video clip from SYMPATHY FOR DELICIOUS
As more and more trailers and clips are released for Sundance film this week, I sadly lament the fact the I am stuck in Austin, hundreds, if not thousands, of miles away from the big show. I'm hoping that most of my most anticipated films will get picked up for distribution, but it's not the same. I want to be in Utah (I bet you've never said that sentence many times in your life).
One of the films I look forward to hearing about is SYMPATHY FOR DELICIOUS, which marks the directorial debut of Mark Ruffalo. Written by paraplegic Christopher Thornton, the film tells the story of a recently paralyzed DJ who turns to the faith healing community. Thornton also plays the title character ,Dino Dwyer, better known as DJ Delicious D. After attending several healings, he finds that he has the power to heal people and uses his gift for his own personal gain.

The film also stars Mark Ruffalo, Juliette Lewis, Laura Linney, and Orlando Bloom.
