As much as film festivals are about getting to see notable films before they are released, they are just as much about discovering films you would not have seen otherwise. If Sundance is known for one thing, it is to be a purveyor of the truly independent cinema, a champion of the little guy. ONE TOO MANY MORNINGS is one of the little guys with a huge heart!

The film stars Anthony Deptula as Peter and Stephen Hale as Fischer, two longtime friends who spend a few days together in a church that Fischer lives in after Peter feels he must escapes the pressures of his long-term relationship. Yes, a church. And while it may be the house that the Redeemer built, Fischer likes to think of it as the house that Jim Beam built. Let's just say, things get a little rowdy, leading to one too many mornings of hangovers and regrets.

Check out our interview with actress Tina Kapousis and co-writer/actor Stephen Hale in which we talk having a low-budget, first feature debut at Sundance, making a film with your best friends, and actually living in a church. The film is semi-autobiographical for Stephen, after all!
