Everybody loves J. J. Abrams, just as everybody loves Steven Spielberg. So what happens when they team up? This awesome trailer is what happens. Their project together, SUPER 8, has been completely shrouded in mystery since it was first announced but now we know something. SUPER 8 now has a start date, which means that it is finally happening.

The current start date is said to be late September in Weirton, Virginia. Unfortunately for us, we still have no idea what the actual film is about. I'm sure we'll get more info as soon as filming begins.

Also, a casting call has gone out for a film called LITTLE DARLINGS which is reported as a fake name for SUPER 8. This is the description:

"Residents in Weirton Heights got letters informing them Paramount Pictures plans to shoot a movie called “Darlings” in their neighborhood. It revolves around a 14-year-old boy and is set in a steel town in 1979."

Are you guys excited to find out more about SUPER 8? What do you expect from the film?
