Super Bowl trailer round-up

So, if there is one thing that non-football fans have to look forward to when it comes to The Super Bowl, are the fantastic ads.

Ranging from emotionally moving, to just plain bad ass, huge numbers of companies are willing to shell out even larger amounts of money to hopefully push their product forward in the eyes of consumers.  Film companies are no different.

This season sees a large number of films getting huge publicity from the game (particularly M. Night Shyamalan’s THE LAST AIRBENDER), and a solid one for a film I'm not looking forward to, ALICE IN WONDERLAND.  We also have a bit more footage from SHUTTER ISLAND, which hits theaters on Friday, and even a bit more footage from the upcoming PRINCE OF PERSIA film.

THE LAST AIRBENDER footage looks to be the most promising, especially after the abomination that was THE HAPPENING. Shyamalan needs to bring himself back to the A-list, and hopefully the promising footage we have seen from AIRBENDER will be the remedy the filmmaker has been craving.  I love the style of the footage, and the action seems really well done.  The other trailers look promising, and if you don’t believe me, just check below!
