Back in February, we exclusively brought you the second teaser trailer for filmmaker Clay Liford’s (Sundance short MY MOM SMOKES WEED, ST. NICK) haunting film EARTHLING. The indie sci-fi tells the tale of “tragedy aboard the international space station triggers a discovery that some lives have been a lie.” That lie turns out to be that these select few are actually aliens living on Earth. The beings must then grapple with this newfound existence in the wake of a mysterious threat that draws near.

EARTHLING stars Rebecca Spence (PUBLIC ENEMIES), Peter Greene (PULP FICTION), William Katt (CARRIE), and Matt Socia (GREENER). The film will have its debut next week at the South By Southwest Film Festival as part of the Narrative Feature Competition. It will premiere Sunday, March 14th at 11:30 AM at the Alamo Ritz, with two more screenings on March 15th at 7:00 PM at the Draft House on Lamar and March 18th at 7:00 PM at G-Tech. It was also just announced to screen at the Dallas International Film Festival.

Check out the trailer for the film after the jump!
