SXSW 2010 Video Interview: Writer/Director/Actor Lena Dunham, Actors David Call & Alex Karpovsky, Editor Lance Edmands & D.P. Jody Lee Lipes (TINY FURNITURE)
An amazing cast and crew of filmmakers and non-actors came together to make TINY FURNITURE. The film won a handful awards at the 2010 SXSW Film Festival including the Narrative Feature award. By far my favorite film of the festival, TINY FURNITURE follows the journey of Aura (Dunham) as she navigates her way through the post-graduate slump. The film is both drama and comedy and gives the feeling that the young filmmaker has lived the story that she is presenting.
Shot on the CANON EOS 7D HDSLR camera, the film is a feast for the eyes as well. We discuss the filmmakers use of both actors and non actors as well as a host of other things (seriously, nothing is off limits) in the both enlightening and hilarious interview.
