Anne Buford, director of the charming and inspirational ELEVATE, sat down with me during SXSW 2011. In this interview, we had the chance to discuss basketball, life in a sports-obsessed family in Kansas, and mostly the kids portrayed in the documentary. This was an interview that I could have transcribed, but I felt that the most positive attribute about Buford is her passion for the kids and her enthusiasm about the project, which is why I felt posting the audio was the best bet for this interview. Please excuse the (at times loud) background noise and my monotonic voice.

Take a listen to the interview after the break, and check out my review of the film HERE.
