I'M STILL HERE

This clip from I'M STILL HERE gave me a serious chuckle. I love that not even a minute into this thing, Sean "Diddy" Combs basically hands Joaquin Phoenix his ass for the mere suggestion of trying to DIY his musical project. He suggests that since that isn't how he makes movies, it shouldn't be his approach to filmmaking either. Basically, Diddy is saying he doesn't work out of garages, but it is nice to hear him name off integral parts of filmmaking, like craft services and gaffers.

It's also quite hilarious to see Joaquin Phoenix looking like a deranged hobo, if you're not already bored with that. Check out the clip after the jump.

I'M STILL HERE follows Phoenix as he abandons his acting career to pursue his dream of becoming a rapper, and I for one am so glad Casey Affleck had the good sense to document this.

I'M STILL HERE will see a limited release on Friday, September 10, 2010. It will be available on Video-on-Demand on September 24, 2010. Check out Kate's review of it HERE.
