Take a peek at Daft Punk in TRON: LEGACY
I'm pretty excited to see what Daft Punk has in store for by way of the score for TRON: LEGACY. In recent interviews, director Joseph Kosinski talked up the duo's work saying that they are "blurring the lines between sound design and music." After working with Daft Punk for three years, the music for the film has definitely been part of the foundation for the film. They started working on the music so early that the actors were able to hear tracks on the set that would help them to establish the mood for the scene.
Earlier this week, we hooked you up with 6 new tracks from the band's score for TRON. If you haven't already checked that out, please do yourself a favor and get on it here. As you are probably well aware, Comic-Con was all abuzz about TRON and for good reason. One thing many were excited about is Daft Punk's appearance in the film. The duo will make an appearance as performers in the End of Line club. Courtesy of /Film, we have an image of the Daft Punk action figures that were on display at Comic-Con. These are meant to give us a taste of what we can expect to see in the film. We are not entirely sure that these images are legit, but we thought you might enjoy them nonetheless. Check it out after the jump.
TRON: LEGACY opens on December 26.
