Teaser for BRAVE hits
Amidst the negativity surrounding the release of Pixar’s CARS 2, the Disney subsidiary and all-around brilliant creative team could use a bit of good buzz. And this is exactly what that is.
Pixar has released the teaser trailer for their next film, BRAVE, and while it garnered quite a bit of good buzz when it was connected to CARS 2, it’s now online and I must say, it looks absolutely breathtaking.
The film stars Kelly Macdonald, Billy Connolly, Emma Thompson, Julie Walters, and Kevin McKidd, and follows the story of Princess Merida who, after breaking a sacred custom of her land, must save her kingdom from the problems she inspires.
Overall, the great thing about this teaser is that it looks to give us a good insight into both the film’s style and scope, both of which appear to be new grounds for Pixar. BRAVE looks to be a gorgeous epic on a level that Pixar hasn’t really attempted, and should be a welcome departure from the sequels we’ve been getting, and will be getting, from Pixar as of late.
