If you have a kid, call them over, things just got a lot more animated and a lot more heartwarming. Well, primarily in one case.

First up, we have the first teaser for the upcoming sequel, HAPPY FEET 2, and yeah, it’s both annoyingly adorable and adorably annoying. The film is coming to us thanks to WB, and will hit in November of this year, from the crew of director George Miller and voice cast including Elijah Wood, Robin Williams, Hank Azaria, Alecia Moore (aka Pink), Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, and Sofia Vergara.

The trailer itself isn’t all that inspiring, particularly with the dated song choices but hey, this will be just what families will be asking for come November of this year. I was a mild fan of the original film, one that I think was beautiful but ultimately a forgettable effort. But overall, this could prove to be quite an interesting animated film in a year where, for all intents and purposes, there isn’t a king of that genre’s mountain. Check the trailer out, and a new MUPPET teaser, after the break.

Here’s the synopsis:

"The sequel to the Academy Award-winning animated smash hit, Happy Feet returns audiences to the magnificent landscape of Antarctica in 3D. Mumble, The Master of Tap, has a problem because his tiny son Erik is choreo-phobic. Reluctant to dance, Erik runs away and encounters The Mighty Sven - a penguin who can fly!! Mumble has no hope of competing with this charismatic new role model. But things get worse when the world is shaken by powerful forces. Erik learns of his father's 'guts and grit' as Mumble brings together the penguin nations and all manner of fabulous creatures - from tiny Krill to giant Elephant Seals - to put things right."

Finally, and briefly, a new teaser for the upcoming film, THE MUPPETS, has hit, and while it isn’t all that world-changing, it is an adorable and clever riff on the teaser for THE HANGOVER PART II, and one that should hold people over until tomorrow, when I’m sure we’ll get another teaser.

The film will hit theaters on November 23, and stars Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Rashida Jones, and Chris Cooper.  Also, this film apparently features a cameo from…well, I won’t ruin it. Just watch the teaser.
