Terry Gilliam directing Arcade Fire concert live stream
I don’t know how much actual direction goes into a concert live stream, but with Terry Gilliam, you never quite know what the guy has up his sleeve.
According to Variety, Gilliam will be directing a live stream of the brilliant band, Arcade Fire, and their upcoming Madison Square Garden performance, which will be held next month. The band has shown their appreciation for the filmmaker before, even recording a cover of the legendary theme to Gilliam’s most beloved and respected film, BRAZIL.
Personally, while I would rather see Gilliam work on getting THE MAN WHO KILLED DON QUIXOTE off the ground, this is more than a dream come true. Gilliam is one of my favorite filmmakers, and Arcade Fire is easily my favorite band working today. I don’t know how "Gilliam" this will end up being, but I can only imagine what it may be like if he has any sort of hand in the actual show. This could be a standard concert performance, of this could be awesome. Hoping for the latter.
