“The end of an Era.” HARRY POTTER completed filming over the weekend
If you're a peer of mine, you probably grew up with the HARRY POTTER franchise being a major part of your childhood. The book series not only got many children interested in reading but also opened up their imaginations to an amazing magical world. The film series was a great addition to the franchise as it brought the amazing world to life. According to the legendary Warwick Davis' Twitter, that time is over as the film series completed shooting last Saturday.
You can check out Warwick's tweet after the break!
"The end of an Era - today is officially the last day of principal photography on ‘Harry Potter’ - ever. I feel honoured to be here as the director shouts cut for the very last time. Farewell Harry & Hogwarts, it’s been magic! …and goodbye Griphook!"
J.K. Rowling claims she isn't going to write anymore books, which means that after the last two movies are released the series will be over. I can't help but feel sad when thinking about this, as it really is "The end of an [era]."
THE DEATHLY HALLOWS - PART ONE will be hitting theaters November 19th of this year, with PART TWO releasing July 15th, 2011. Feel free to talk about how you were introduced to the series, or lay praise to the series in the comments below.
