THE EXPENDABLES trailer explodes on online!!!
I remember being at a Secret Screening for Fantastic Fest last September when Dolph Lundgren was the surprise guest. Of course, we all thought we were about to get a first look at the all-star action epic, THE EXPENDABLES, directed by Sylvester Stallone. That was not the case. Instead, we were one of the first audiences to see...UNIVERSAL SOLDIER: REGENERATION aka UNIVERSAL SOLDIER 3. I felt completely bamboozled, but I still say it was the best Secret Screening ever at Fantastic Fest for that very reason alone.
The full trailer for THE EXPENDABLES is now available for mass consumption and it packs a punch. If Stallone was back in Roman times he would've been a star gladiator, but luckily he is of this world and he knows what the audience wants to see - sheer mayhem.
This cast is one of the best ever assembled for an action film and it looks like they all get their moments to shine. THE EXPENDABLES has a good chance of being one of the more memorable movie-going experiences you're likely to have this summer and I can't wait. There's also a couple of cameos in the trailer that will have you jumping out of your office chair.
THE EXPENDABLES hits theaters on August 13.
