The Flash gets a writer?
News broke today that Warner Bros. has possibly nailed down a writer for the long awaited, long talked about film adaptation of everyone's favorite speedy, spandex-clad superhero THE FLASH. Who's hand controls the pen that shall bring the world's fastest man to the big screen? None other than JOHNNY QUEST scribe Dan Mazeau.
The source that broke the news made the following claim that the announcement was in fact legit. "We've double checked with multiple sources and can say with 100% certainty that Mazeau is currently writing a script for the lightening fast superhero."
Let's hope so! It's about time we finally get to see the ball actually rolling on THE FLASH. And if Mazeau's script for JOHNNY QUEST is as good as I've read it is, then Barry Allen's story should be in good hands...for now that is. The true test will be to see who the director of choice is and if that person has half a brain to cast Ryan Reynolds. It is a known fact that Reynold's parents tried to name him Wally Barry West Allen Reynolds because he was born to play this character! True story.
