Woo woo woo, it's been a good two weeks for THE HANGOVER and UP. HANGOVER came in at #1 for the second week in a row, taking in $33,415,000 (giving it a total gross of $105,389,000) and UP came in a close second with $30,515,000 (having $187,179,000 for its total gross). At this very moment, I'm picturing the heads over at Warner Bros. and Pixar using $100 bills to spark up their Cuban cigars. THE TAKING OF PELHAM 1 2 3 came in third with $25,000,000, but here's the problem here - it cost $100,000,000 to make; I'm fairly confident it's not going to beat its budget while in theaters.

Coming in fourth and fifth were NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM: BATTLE OF THE SMITHSONIAN and LAND OF THE LOST, respectively.

Duncan Jones' MOON opened in NY and LA this weekend, which brought in a very impressive gross of $145,000 in just eight theaters. Sit tight, Dallas, MOON's a-coming.

Oh, yeah, I almost forgot- the $55 million budget IMAGINE THAT came in sixth with $5,700,000 in its first weekend. Heads up to the guy that approved the budget, you should probably post your resume on Monster ASAP.
