The Last House on the Left poster

"If bad people hurt someone you love, how far would you go to hurt them back?" This is the new poster for the remake of Wes Craven's 1972 horror film. In case you missed the 1972 version here is what to expect:

"After kidnapping and brutally assaulting two young women, a gang led by a prison escapee unknowingly finds refuge at a vacation home belonging the parents of one of the victims -- a mother and father who devise an increasingly gruesome series of revenge tactics."--imdb

This remake looks to be promising (that is one scary looking house!), but that's what I continually think time and time again before I see the actual movie. Remakes tend to disappoint and defame the original but I'm going to hope for the best.
