With the majority of films already announced for the upcoming TIFF, it looks like we are getting an onslaught of on-set photos for films that will be premiering during the festival.

The latest film, Tom Hooper’s THE KING'S SPEECH, looks amazing and has already garnered some pre-premiere Oscar love.

Hooper, director of last year’s great film, THE DAMNED UNITED, brought together one hell of a cast for this thing, including Colin Firth and Helena Bonham Carter, who look completely great here. Joining the duo in this film, “a historical drama about a King with a speech impediment,” will be Guy Pearce, Michael , and Geoffrey Rush, and it will see a release through Miramax, leaving many to believe that this may be their big Oscar baby come later this year.

Personally, the biggest draw to this film isn’t its overall look, which is great, but it’s Firth, who can last be seen in last year’s brilliant film (early this year for many), A SINGLE MAN. He’s a brilliant thespian, and hopefully this film will again get his name in talks for Best Actor come Academy Award time.
