Tim Story to direct THINK LIKE A MAN
Tim Story (BARBERSHOP, FANTASTIC 4, FANTASTIC 4 SILVER SURFER) is directing THINK LIKE A MAN, a film adaptation based on comedian Steve Harvey's book Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man. Keith Merryman and David A. Newman are writing its script.
The premise makes me think of a mix between HITCH and a Tyler Perry film: "Kevin Hart (DEATH AT A FUNERAL, FOOL'S GOLD, SOUL PLANE) thinks of himself as a relationship expert and is never shy about giving this expertise and advice to his friends, meanwhile his own marriage is on the rocks and heading for a divorce."
Seeing is how its a comedy, I hope there is some nice (and probably predictable) happy ending or maybe awkward antics to make this plot seem more interesting. Although, Harvey's book is a bestseller, so this film will definitely hit a large fan base.
Sony has set the release date for April 6, 2012.
