Tina Fey could be back on the big screen again soon! Variety is reporting that she's closing a deal with Universal Pictures to star in their upcoming comedy ADMISSION. After the success of DATE NIGHT and MEGAMIND, I'm surprised she doesn't have more roles on the docket.

For more on the film, keep reading after the break.

ADMISSION is based on the 2009 novel by Jean Hanff. It's being developed by Paul Weitz, director of comedy hits AMERICAN PIE and ABOUT A BOY. Tina Fey would star as a "Princeton admissions officer who begins to have a relationship with a potential student who may not live up to the university's standards."

With the cutthroat admissions process for elite universities, I'm surprised this story hasn't been mined already. I know many people who would go to great lengths to get into a top university like Princeton.
