Todd Phillips already has idea of what THE HANGOVER PART III would entail
With THE HANGOVER PART II just a week away from release in theaters, writer and director Todd Phillips has revealed he has somewhat of a plan for a third film. In a press conference for PART II in LA, the question of a third film arose and Phillips was quick to speak up.
Coming Soon provided the quote from Phillips, who said, "Obviously we always envisioned it as a trilogy...The third would be very much a finale and an ending...I haven't discussed it with these actors yet. [It would] not follow the same template, but is very much a new idea." Phillips also stated that the third film doesn't have a location set yet. He says about the location, "I'm very open. It'll be like being on the Olympic committee, being pitched and presented cities, flown around with wine and women and bribes."
It will be interesting to see how PART II fares and, if it doesn't have the immense success of the first film, what will become of this PART III.
THE HANGOVER PART II hits theaters on May 27.
