Todd Phillips wants to give Mike Tyson another HANGOVER
The MTV Movie Awards are more than just a big party where stars of varying levels of fame gather together give give, receive, and cheer for the giving of an award that is about as prized as Homer Simpson's Grammy. The Awards, with the massive amount of media coverage that comes with them, also provide an opportunity for some of the biggest names in Hollywood to drop a little information on some of their upcoming projects.
One of these names this year happened to be Todd Phillips, producer and director of the conquering comedy THE HANGOVER and, of course, its upcoming sequel. If you're excited to see the wolf pack back at it, but found yourself wondering what kind of celebrity could fill the hilarious cameo quota as well as Mike Tyson, have no fear, because it looks like Phillips wants to use...Mike Tyson.
“I’ve got to find something for him because he’s been texting me,” Phillips said. “I’ve got to figure it out. We’re going to find something for Mike.”
Can you imagine Mike Tyson repeatedly texting YOU for a part in your movie? This would probably leave most filmmakers speaking with a sense of urgency - "I've got to figure it out, because Mike said if I didn't, he would hang me over a pit with tigers in it, and personally cut the rope."
All kidding aside, it would be great to see big Mike coming back into play. He made such an incredible addition to the first HANGOVER, and his part would definitely be interesting, so long as it is written in well. How would you write Mike back into another night of debauchery?
