Trailer for LITTLE BIRDS arrives
Whether it be a films like the SXSW darling ELECTRICK CHILDREN (one of this writer’s favorite films from the festival) or the Sundance debut of LITTLE BIRDS, 2012 appears to be a big year for coming-of-age features.
A new trailer for director Elgin James film has hit, with stars Juno Temple and Kay Panabaker appearing to give great performances, with one hell of a supporting cast to share the stage with.
The film follows two young women who take to Los Angeles in hope of breaking away from their boring home lives in the Salton Sea area. Personally, I absolutely love the look and feel of this film, sharing quite a bit of style with the previously mentioned rock film CHILDREN. I think the film itself hits on, or appears to anyways, many of your standard coming-of-age notes, which may hinder it, but the style appears so assured here that I can’t help but be interested in the project.
