Yahoo now has the film's trailer in HD.

Despite a cavalcade of changes and production issues, Bennett Miller’s long-awaited return to the big screen, MONEYBALL, is almost here.

Thanks to Entertainment Tonight, we have our first trailer for the film, and while it does feature a bit of that always-annoying voiceover, this is a relatively annoyance-free look at a film that is bound to be a huge hit with both the public and Academy voters.

The film stars Brad Pitt as Oakland Athletics GM Billy Beane who, along with his assistant (Jonah Hill), attempted to bring a championship to Oakland and in turn change the way people think about baseball. Philip Seymour Hoffman co-stars in the film, which features a script that’s seen such names as Aaron Sorkin and Steve Zailian taking stabs at it. Take a look, after the break.

Personally, while I’m not a huge fan of the sports film genre, this looks to be an absolute gem. Miller is a massively talented filmmaker, as something like CAPOTE has proven, so the fact that he’s behind this sports film is really intriguing. Toss in a wonderful cast, and you have a film that’s sure to have its fair share of buzz.
