Trailer for SHERLOCK HOLMES: A GAME OF SHADOWS hits
HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART IIisn’t only one of the year’s most anticipated films due to the franchise that it will be concluding, but because of a collection of trailers that it will be sharing the screen with.
Along with THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, the first trailer for SHERLOCK HOLMES: A GAME OF SHADOWS will bow with prints of the film, but in the meantime, it’s now online thanks to Apple, and it looks rather great. The film sees stars Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law returning as Holmes and Watson, while both Noomi Rapace and Jared Harris make their franchise debut here, both looking top notch in their respective roles.
I really love the look and feel of this film, with the action appearing to be as fantastic and engaging as the first film. Toss in a really good score from Hans Zimmer, and you have a sequel that will hopefully surpass an already shockingly fun first feature. With a great cast and a director perfectly suited for the world he’s working in, GAME OF SHADOWS looks to be a wonderful bit of counter-programming for when it hits later this year.
