The Missing Person trailer

Writer and director Noah Buschel’s third feature, THE MISSING PERSON, stars rising actor Michael Shannon (REVOLUTIONARY ROAD) as John Rosow, a private detective. He's not your run-of-the-mill private eye, either, he's an investigator in the old, hard-boiled sense. But while THE MISSING PERSON has all the elements of a great noir flick (which you will surely see in the trailer), the plot is ruthlessly contemporary and timely.

Rosow is hired to tail a man on a train ride from Chicago to LA. The man, Harold Fullmer, is the titular MISSING PERSON, but he hasn't gone missing for any of the reasons we've come to expect from such a film. He's not a murderer or a criminal on the lam, he's a survivor the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the WTC. Rosow is tasked with bringing back a man to a life he's already abandoned for his own reasons.

THE MISSING PERSON opens in New York on November 20 and in Los Angeles on November 27.
