Trailer for THE ROOMMATE pulls at your heart – wait, that’s your earring

The things I do for you people. There are few things I fear as irrationally as I fear someone yanking out an earring. Not just my earring, anyone's earring. I can't even properly put words to it, but I can tell you that knowing that this first trailer for THE ROOMMATE featured (gulp) a pull, I still went for it. For you. To bring you the very best. There's also this trailer to bring you. I kid! THE ROOMMATE smacks of SINGLE WHITE FEMALE for the next generation but, oddly enough, it doesn’t involve roommates brought together via Craigs List. Weird.

The film stars Leighton Meester and Minka Kelly. It’s a television actress affair. Meester’s Rebecca and Kelly’s Sara get tossed together as college dorm roommates. Things are going you know, like totally, like, amazing, like omigod! Rebecca and Sara are getting tight, as the kids say. But when Sara meets a new dude (hi, Cam Gigandet from TWILIGHT) and starts hanging out with Alyson Michalka’s Tracy, Rebecca doesn’t take it too well. Man, does she not take it too well. I spent most of this trailer with my head between my knees. Am I taking this too hard? Check out the trailer for THE ROOMMATE after the break and let me know your thoughts!

THE ROOMMATE opens on February 4th of next year.

Um, yeah – this movie was cool nearly two decades ago….when it was “Single White Female”. I mean come on, original ideas please! My films are going to rock this joint.
