THE HANGOVER was a huge hit, making its three leads hot commodities in the comedy movie world. Ed Helms booked CEDAR RAPIDS fresh off that success and it looks like he's picked another winner.

Starring Helms and John C. Reilly, it follows one insurance agent as he heads to the "big city" of Cedar Rapids, Iowa for a national insurance convention. There he meets the frat boy of the insurance world and hijinks ensue. For more on the movie and to watch the trailer, keep reading after the break.

In just two and a half minutes, I'm already sold! With Alia Shawkat (Maebe from Arrested Development) as a prostitute and John C. Reilly and Anne Heche as his convention guides, the small town guy is sure to get into a lot of compromising and hilarious situations.

Here's the official synopsis from Fox Searchlight:

To call insurance agent Tim Lippe (Ed Helms), “naive” is a gross understatement. He’s never left his small hometown. He’s never stayed at a hotel. And he’s never experienced anything like Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Sent to represent his company at the annual insurance convention, Tim is soon distracted by three convention veterans (John C. Reilly, Anne Heche and Isiah Whitlock Jr.) who will show him the ropes and push his boundaries. For a guy who plays everything by the book, this convention will be anything but conventional.

CEDAR RAPIDS will be out in theaters nationwide on February 11, 2011 and will premiere at this upcoming Sundance Film Festival in January.
