Kill Bill

Tyler Stout is one of the most popular artists working with Mondo, the Alamo Drafthouse’s collectible art boutique.

His new print for KILL BILL goes on sale April 5th, and is sure to follow the recent Mondo trend of selling out in seconds. Check it out after the break.

The print was first made available at the New Beverly Theater in Los Angeles commemorating the first U.S. theatrical screening of KILL BILL: THE WHOLE BLOODY AFFAIR, the definitive cut that includes both KILL BILL films complete with footage missing from the original theatrical releases. The print will be available in original and variant form, with the variant being printed on rice paper. The original is a run of 600 and will cost $50. The variant is a run of 225 and will cost $100. Both prints will measure 24” x 36”. Check out the variant after the break.

Stout has worked with Mondo for years, producing many memorable prints for films such as BLADE RUNNER, THE THING, INGLORIOUS BASTERDS, THE BIG LEBOWSKI, and ROBOCOP. Even his posters of films with mixed reviews (THE FP, for one) sell out incredibly fast and routinely sell for several hundred dollars in the secondary market (his most sought after works go for thousands).

Follow Mondo on twitter for a release announcement, as the poster goes on sale tomorrow at a random time.
