With all the recent rumors that Captain America was in The Incredible Hulk had fanboys going crazy trying to find him in advance and early screenings butit was to no avail. The director Louis Letterrier has now confirmed that the scene with Captain America was cut from the movie so it can not be found in the theatrical prints. Here is what he said in regards to the missing scene, "There's a point when Bruce Banner gives up on his quest for the cure and decide to kill himself. So he travels far North and reaches the Arctic Circle. You might have seen bits of it in some of the promos. The result was a very dark and strong scene, which Marvel, me and everyone else's considered to be too hard to young audiences to take, so we've cut it. Having that said, when Bruce arrives at his destination he meets up with Captain America!." Letterier, however does confrim that it will be on the dvd and may show up online sometime next couple of weeks as a stand alone clip. So this sounds pretty awesome and he also confirmed that a whopping 70 minutes of footage was cut from Hulk and will be put on the Blu-Ray and Dvd versions of the film. It does not say if they will just be deleted scenes or if Letterrier intends to do some sort of extended cut, either way I can't wait to see what has left out. So, in the meantime go check out The Incredible Hulk, now in theatres.
