With the HARRY POTTER film franchise coming to a close later this summer, July 15 is set to be the end of one of the biggest and most beloved film franchises of this generation.
Directed by David Yates, HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 2 will be hitting theaters on that date, and thanks to EW, we have a brand new clip from this massively anticipated project. The clip is available both online (embedded after the break), as well as on the new DVD and Blu-ray of THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 1, and sees Potter chatting with John Hurt’s character, Mr. Ollivander, about wands and then Voldemort.
I really dig this scene as a whole, and based on the really high quality of the HALLOWS PART 1, this is definitely one film I’m eagerly anticipating. I have not read the book series, so I can’t say that I’m a fan of the franchise holistically, but this is definitely one hell of a way to get this writer excited for a film.
