Video game movies are always hit-or-miss, and some make a lot more sense than others. Fans are always up in arms over the latest translation of their favorite series, hoping that the next one can finally be right. The most recent one to be hitting the big screen will be JUST CAUSE, based off the balls-to-the-wall game series of the same name.

For those who aren't familiar with the series, the game features an open sandbox environment where destruction is your main goal, and chaotic stunts ensue. Fear for the upcoming film is something I can certainly relate with, but I feel there is proof that this film could be good.

This proof happens to be the CRANK series, which isn't exactly known for its quality, but is certainly known for its entertainment value. In a world where CRANK is something worth watching, JUST CAUSE could be, too. We can only hope that they end up sharing a similar tone.
