Editor's note: THE SOCIAL NEWORK hits Blu-ray/DVD today. This interview was originally posted f on October 1, 2010 for the theatrical release.

The central character of an ensemble cast, Jesse Eisenberg stands alone as the abrasive genius Mark Zuckerberg in David Fincher's upcoming film, THE SOCIAL NETWORK. In 2003, Zuckerberg created one of the most popular networking sites in the history of the internet: Facebook. Creating such a wildly successful site made him both famous and infamous.

This movie follows Zuckerberg from the genesis of Facebook to the present day and tells the story from three different perspectives: that of Zuckerberg himself, and of the plaintiffs in two separate lawsuits against him. Jesse fully embodies the hero and anti-hero that is the reclusive Zuckerberg. After the jump, check out the interview and find out why.
