Last month, at SXSW, we were lucky enough to review THE HUNTER before it hit theaters for mass consumption. Today, instead of watching TITANIC for the tenth time, do yourself a favor and buy a ticket for THE HUNTER. What's more interesting? Seeing a sinking ship or watching Willem Dafoe hunt a tiger?

Hit the jump to see the interview!

At this point in his career, Dafoe has nothing left to prove, but his performance in THE HUNTER solidifies his place as an icon. Usually, Dafoe is a part of an ensemble but he rarely has a chance to shine and carry a film alone. He's in almost every frame, and his performance here reminds us all that we shouldn't take this man for granted. THE HUNTER isn't a film that will garner a great amount of buzz or light up the box office, but it's a powerful film that deserves your full attention.
