This may not be much, but at least it’s not a Duran Duran concert.

While the director has been hard at work on a music project of his own and yes, directing a Duran Duran concert, David Lynch has been relatively quiet, but apparently it’s because he’s been teaming with New York based rock outfit, Interpol, on a new project.

A short entitled I PUSH A RED BUTTON played during the band’s set at this year’s Coachella Festival, during their song “Lights,” and while it is absolutely nothing to really look at, it does feed the appetite for those looking for more Lynch. It is absurdly random and incoherent, but while it lacks anything really intriguing about it, it’s new Lynch, and for that, it’s an absolute must see. Plus, the song is great (thanks to Twitch for digging this up).

Finally, in equally uninteresting video related news, a new TV spot for the upcoming WB film, GREEN LANTERN, and it gives you very little, if any at all, new looks into the film. The spot itself looks fantastic, but for those who have seen the larger blocks of footage that have been released, nothing much here will be mind-blowing. That all said, it does still look like that first, original trailer was a fluke, as this thing look like it could really kick ass come this summer season.
