Vincent Curatola cast in COGAN’S TRADE
Vincent Curatola has been cast in the upcoming crime thriller COGAN'S TRADE, according to THR. He'll star alongside Brad Pitt, James Gandolfini, Sam Rockwell, Casey Affleck, and Mark Ruffalo.
Curatola will play a middle-aged man recently released from jail who seeks revenge on those who sent him to prison. He is familiar with life behind bars, he starred as mob boss Johnny Sack on HBO's The Sopranos. This marks the first time Gandolfini and Curatola will be on the big screen together. The film begins shooting in New Orleans later this month and is being produced by The Weinstein Co. and Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment.
Andrew Dominick is lensing the film, which is based on the 1974 George V. Higgins novel of the same name. Pitt stars as Jackie Cogan, a hard-boiled enforcer in gangland Boston. The movie is scheduled for an early 2012 theatrical release.
I really loved The Sopranos and his character is very memorable. He is a great character actor and will be a good fit for this role. The cast keeps getting better for this film and I can't wait to see it.
