Warren Beatty playing Howard Hughes, meeting with amazing actors for upcoming project
Just two days ago, we reported that Hollywood icon Warren Beatty would star in, direct, and produce an upcoming feature for Paramount; more details about the project have been revealed, and it definitely sounds like it’ll be worth the wait.
Deadline Hollywood reports that Beatty will star in the film as tycoon Howard Hughes. What's more, he’s already meeting with quite a few actors, such as Alec Baldwin, Andrew Garfield, Shia LaBeouf, Rooney Mara, Jack Nicholson, Evan Rachel Wood, and – obviously and thankfully – Annette Bening, for roles in the film.
It’s not going to be a biopic about Hughes – Martin Scorsese’s 2004 Oscar winner THE AVIATOR already covered that – and it was initially reported to be a comedy. Unfortunately, there’s no word on what this whole project is exactly about, aside from part of the film dealing with one of Hughes’s affairs, but I’m expecting the unexpected for whatever plot details do emerge in the future.
It’s a stellar array of actors lined up for the meetings, and the plot will likely be intriguing as well. To put it quite simply, I can’t wait to see where this film goes.
