Watchmen Release date will be settled!
Why does all this lawsuit craziness have to happen to WATCHMEN? Why doesn't all this happen to some crappy movie? All this is just proof that life sucks sometimes. Fortunately there just might be a light at the end of the tunnel. Hold on, don't get too excited, the light is very, very, very dim. 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros. have recently agreed to put WATCHMEN's release date into the hands of the courts. So, January 20th a federal judge will rule whether Warner Bros. will be allowed to release their sure-to-be-a-blockbuster on March 6. Here's why I warned you the light at the end of the tunnel is light; the federal judge scheduled to hear the cases and make the decision is none other than U.S. District Judge Gary A. Feess. Yes, the very same Judge Feess that ruled on December 24 Fox owned the rights to distribute WATCHMEN. Common sense tells us that once Judge Feess has ruled in Fox's favor, he will do so again. This sucks for us moviegoers and fans, but Warner Bros. should have been more careful in preproduction. So let us all send up our prayers and cross our fingers that somehow all of this craziness will be resolved and we will all find ourselves sitting in a dark theater watching the WATCHMEN soon!
